Sir Alex Ferguson is back from a short break to Scotland with his players and it looks like Scholes will return alongside Michael Carrick.
Ryan Giggs did not perform against Fulham and he could find himself on the bench for the start of this one.
Javier Hendandez is looking for a start, if that happens either Danny Welbeck or Ashley Young will miss out.
Ferguson may also be forced into a change at the back with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling hoping for a start at either right back or centre back if Rafael drops out or Rio Ferdinand is unfit to start.
United will be looking for the win that will put them five points clear of Citeh who ballsed things up slightly on Saturday when they played Sunderland at home.
