Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted his side were 'a bit fortunate' as they overcame Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.[LNB] The Red Devils looked to be staring defeat in the face when Spurs took a two-goal lead at Old Trafford.[LNB]But referee Howard Webb's decision to award a debatable penalty handed United the momentum and they went on to record a remarkable comeback, winning the match 5-2.[LNB]"We were a bit fortunate but football is a funny game," said Ferguson. "You get terrible decisions. We got one last week. You have to deal with them and get on with it."[LNB]BerbatovFerguson went on to reserve praise for striker Dimitar Berbatov, who netted United's fifth goal, after a difficult week for the summer signing from Tottenham.[LNB]"It was a fantastic performance from Berbatov," said Ferguson.[LNB]"I don't think he gave the ball away once. He was our best player in the first-half and in the second he produced some wonderful moments.[LNB]"He does things that are world class. All he has done is miss a penalty kick. It was a bad one, I make no excuses about that. But how many players have done that?[LNB]"It is only a missed penalty. We have to move on."[LNB]
