Fergie expects tough test

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Sir Alex Ferguson believes Blackburn will be difficult to beat when they visit Old Trafford on Saturday.[LNB] The Manchester United manager watched Rovers defeat Burnley 3-2 in a Lancashire derby two weeks ago and was impressed with what he saw.[LNB]The Red Devils will be looking to respond after their disappointing showing in the 2-0 defeat at Liverpool last time out.[LNB]Blackburn have been hit by swine flu this past week with Christopher Samba, David Dunn and now Jason Roberts all having suffered with the virus but Ferguson is still excepting a tough test.[LNB]"I saw them recently against Burnley and they played really well in that game," he said.[LNB]"They have always been difficult to beat at Blackburn and I think Sam has built a different team from Mark Hughes' Blackburn.[LNB]"Quite a few decent players have left like David Bentley and Stephen Warnock and Sam has had to pick up the thread of what was left and replacing players of that quality was not easy."[LNB]Rovers are expected to hand Dunn a start after fully recovering from swine flu although Samba is a doubt and now Roberts is thought to be suffering. However Ferguson said he had no such problems at United.[LNB]"We have not had it touch wood," he added. "I think Sam had a big concern last week when I spoke to him before the Chelsea game.[LNB]"But Dunn was back during the week and came on a substitute against Peterborough so he will be fit. I don't know about Samba but I think they have got to grips with it.[LNB]"It's an interesting thing. Flu does happen. Whatever you call it, you had Asian flu a couple of years ago with players missing games. [LNB]"Fortunately so far we have been okay."[LNB]Ferguson did point out that he had doubts over a number of his players' fitness ahead of the clash.[LNB]"We have some doubts," he highlighted. "Ryan Giggs is a doubt but we hope he will be okay, (Rio) Ferdinand and (Nemanja) Vidic are both doubts and we will have to see what they are like."[LNB]
