Ferdinand To Look At Management

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says that he will be looking to move into management when his playing days are over.

There have been plenty of names from the past who have moved on from the field at Old Trafford to the manager’s seat in the offices of other clubs.

Now Ferdinand finds himself looking towards the future and feels that he should move into coaching.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ferdinand said: "As the months and years have gone by I think I have come round to the idea of doing some sort of coaching or being a manager.

"Obviously I love football and all the tactics but I also think I would like the day-to-day responsibility of cajoling players and bringing the best out of them. Man-management is so important these days. I think I would love that side of it."
