Ferdinand could miss rest of the season
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Manchester United "will be lucky" if Rio Ferdinand plays again this season.
The England defender suffered a calf injury in the warm-up ahead of United's surprise Premier League defeat at Wolves on February 5.
And Ferguson looks set to be without the centre-back for longer than he had envisaged.
"Rio has been out for a few weeks now," said Ferguson.
"We are not looking at this as a short-term situation.
"He has not started training yet. We will be lucky to get him back for some part of the season."
