Ferdinand Back As England Captain

Rio Ferdinand has regained the England captaincy after returning from injury. Ferdinand was to be the captain for the World Cup finals but injury kept him out of the side and Steven Gerrard was given the job. But although the Liverpool midfielder was one of the few England players to emerge from South Africa with any credit, the job has been given back to the United defender. England are in action in the Euro 2012 qualifier against the Group G leaders Montenegro at Wembley on Tuesday.
