Febian Brandy closing in on Preston deal

Preston have offered Febian Brandy a route back into football.

The former Manchester United starlet, 22 on Friday, is training with North End after being left without a club.

Brandy, who had spells at Swansea, Hereford and Gillingham, was working with physio Mick 'Baz' Rathbone in his recovery from a broken metatarsal and had also had a trial at Leicester.

Manager Phil Brown said: 'I need to speak to his agent and we will see where that takes us.'
