Evra - Utd blip an accident

Patrice Evra has described Manchester United's recent stumble in the Premier League as 'a little accident'.[LNB] United's bid for a hat-trick of titles has been checked by back-to-back defeats by closest rivals Liverpool and away at Fulham.[LNB]The defeats have seen United's lead at the summit reduced to one point, although the reigning champions do still have a game in hand.[LNB]The international break means the Red Devils do not play again in the Premier League until Sunday 5th April when Aston Villa come to Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports 1 & HD1.[LNB]Evra is currently away with the France squad and the full-back admits his immediate focus is on the 2010 World Cup double-header with Lithuania.[LNB]France focusHowever, Evra acknowledged that the recent blip at club level has proven to be an unusual occurrence.[LNB]"In three years, it is the very first time that I have experienced two defeats in a row," Evra told L'Equipe.[LNB]"I am sure it is just a little accident.[LNB]"Anyway, I have to forget about the club now. I will think about Manchester again after the two matches against Lithuania."[LNB]
