Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko was delighted to be singled out for praise by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils boss hailed the display of the Bosnia international following the UEFA Champions League clash between the two clubs at Old Trafford in midweek. Dzeko opened the scoring in the 56th minute before United hit back with goals from Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick to secure a 2-1 victory. "I am happy, I am delighted. It is always fine to get praised," Dzeko told Bild. Special"If there is someone like Ferguson saying that, it's very special. He is one of the best in the game." The former FK Teplice youngster signed a new contract in the summer which will keep him at the Volkswagen Arena until 2013. AC Milan were strongly linked with a swoop for his services before Wolfsburg handed him the lucrative new deal. However, reports in Germany have claimed that there is a clause in the deal which would allow Dzeko to move on if a bid of £18.5million was received.
