Robert Lewandowski will not be leaving Borussia Dortmund to take up a place at Old Trafford according to the player himself.

Reports have said that the 24 year old Poland international was linked with a move to Manchester and the speculation was heightened by comments on Polish TV.

In England, the Daily Telegraph said that the United powers that be were looking at the player very closely and Sir Alex had been to Dortmund's recent 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the Champions League.

But Lewandowski is contracted with the German champions until 2014 and he says that he is more than happy where he is.

He told Sky Sports:  "I didn't even know Sir Alex Ferguson was in the stands against City but it wouldn't influence me at all. I haven't got plans to change clubs.

"I have a contract with Borussia and I focus on that. I focus on being at my best in every single match. I want to play the best season of my career."
