Diouf still in shock

New Manchester United signing Mama Biram Diouf admits that he is still in shock after sealing his move to the Premier League champions. Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson stated that his summer transfer business was over after signing Antonio Valencia, Gabriel Obertan and Michael Owen but just days later swooped for the striker. Ferguson revealed that the club had to act fast after rival clubs had begun to show an interest in the Molde FK starlet. Diouf has taken the Norwegian league by storm this term and he will finish the season in with Molde before joining United in January. Despite having a few weeks to digest the news Diouf is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that he has signed on at Old Trafford. "It was something in a dream and I couldn't believe it," he told Sky Sports News. "I was saying it's not true for two days. I didn't believe it because there have been many rumours saying: I am going there, I'm going there, so I said no. "(It hasn't sunk in) yet, until I sign I think it is a dream." Diouf admits that he knew there was interest from elsewhere but once he knew United had made an offer there was nowhere else he wanted to go. "I heard there were a lot of clubs, some from the Netherlands," he added. "I didn't think I had any interest from England but then suddenly Manchester call, then it was good news. "No way, why should I (think of going anywhere else)? Everybody wants to play for United, they are a big club. "They have everything, they play football there and everybody wants to play for United."
