Reports are coming out via the official PSV twitter account that Manchester United and Liverpool target Memphis Depay will be a Manchester United player when the transfer window opens subject to a medical.

The player has been of interest to several of Europe’s biggest clubs after impressing both at the World Cup under Louis van Gaal but also this season for PSV where he has bagged an impressive haul of goals and helped PSV to the Eredivisie title.
The 21-year-old winger joined PSV in 2011 where he has gone on to make 122 appearances, scoring 49 goals in the process. Depay is a pacey winger who is also full of tricks making him a very difficult player for defenders to deal with which has resulted in a high goal tally for a Dutchman.
The Van Gaal effect has often been cited as an important factor that has given Manchester United the edge in negotiations. The deal is thought to be worth £24.4million to PSV who have long been philosophical about the players future which they have expected to be at a top European club in the summer.
