American dream: David Beckham has pulled in the dollars across the Pond[LNB]David Beckham earned nearly £10million from personal sponsorship deals during his first full season with the Los Angeles Galaxy.[LNB]The England midfielder's latest accounts show that his marketability increased by his move from Real Madrid to the United States, despite football being a minority sport across the Pond.[LNB]Newly released figures from the official British company registry show that Beckham's income from his Footwork Productions company in the year ending December 31, 2008, soared by 91 per cent from the previous year to £9.97m. [LNB]The company's gross profit of £12.09m, which rose about 15 per cent,includes income from endorsements. That figure is believed to accountfor two-thirds of the 34-year-old Beckham's sponsorship income.[LNB]Aseparate company, Brand Beckham, receives his £3.3m basic salary fromthe Galaxy, the share of the merchandising he generates for the MajorLeague Soccer team and joint endorsements with wife Victoria, includingtheir range of fragrances.[LNB] High profile: The Beckhams - including Victoria and sons Cruz (centre) and Romeo - sit courtside as the LA Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks[LNB] Beckham joined the Galaxy on a five-year contract in July 2007.
