David Beckham battled back from a stress fracture to his spine to help Los Angeles Galaxy hold Seattle Sounders to a 0-0 Independence Day draw in the MLS.[LNB]The former England captain, whose wife Victoria is expecting the arrival fourth child imminently, made a surprise 20-minute cameo appearance having been sidelined for two weeks with the back problem.[LNB] Leaving his mark: Beckham is left bemused as the referee takes a spray can to the pitch[LNB]But the 36-year-old ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star responded well to treatment to make an unexpected return.[LNB]'The epidural and cortisone injections last week seemed to react well and took the pain away,' he said.
