Daniele De Rossi linked with summer move to Manchester United
In demand: De Rossi could be set for a summer move away from Roma[LNB]Manchester United chances of signing Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi have been boosted by the news that the Italy international is considering his future with the Serie A outfit.[LNB]De Rossi has experienced a somewhat troubled stay at the Stadio Olimpico over the past three seasons and his representatives are believed to be pushing for an ?18 million move away from Roma in the summer.[LNB]The Roma vice-captain recently separated from his wife whilst his father-in-law was shot dead. [LNB]Furthermore, after openly admitting to a fallout with the Roma faithful, he has given his clearest indication yet that he open to a move, despite his boyhood ties with the club.[LNB]He said: 'They [Roma fans] used to treat me as one of their own, they would tell me to throw in another elbow, but now the wind has changed. Something here at Roma is changing.[LNB]'For a year and a half, the things I've heard that have given me the most pride have come from outside Rome. I have had moments at a low ebb, in which I wasn't at my best. Do I feel wounded?[LNB][LNB]'Yes, but I don't want to play the victim, I don't wantpeople to come and tell me how great I am.
