We continue to be committed to eradicating all forms of discrimination from game' 14.30 Afternoon liveblog fans. Like a new line of make-up or a studious adolescent of A-Level age, life for Chelsea at the moment is all about tests. They began the season as title challenge pretenders after last season's Champions League glory masked their worst league finish since the time before all that lovely money arrived. Roberto Di Matteo's entertaining and oddly likable young side are being taken more seriously now, after coming through every exam they've faced this season with flying colours (domestically, at least). Arsenal away, Spurs away, these were potential banana skins that had the power to cause not only slips but season-derailing morale-destroying mega-defeats. Not so. Foes smote, Chelsea look more and more like the real deal with every passing Premier League game. It's Manchester United at home this afternoon. Another test. Possibly nowhere near as hard as some of the others they've faced so far if United's recent defensive showings are anything to go by. Will they pass it? There are several ways to find out, but I recommend that you stay right here. Team news and that to follow, stay tuned. Why not enjoy this delightful preview? Sunday, October 28 Chelsea v Manchester United Stamford Bridge Kick-off: 16.00 GMT. TV: Live Sky Sports 1, Highlights BBC ONE Match of the Day2. Chelsea (possible, 4-3-3): Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Oscar, Mikel; Mata, Torres, Hazard. Out: Lampard (calf), Terry (suspended). Manchester United (possible, 4-3-1-2): De Gea; Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Giggs; Rooney; Welbeck, Van Persie. Out: Jones, Kagawa (both knee), Lindegaard (thumb), Smalling (match fitness), Vidic (knee). Referee: Mark Clattenburg. Matches 5, R2 Y24. Team News Frank Lampard will be sidelined for at least a fortnight with a calf problem, manager Roberto Di Matteo confirmed on Friday. Lampard limped out of Tuesday's Champions League defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk with a recurrence of the injury he suffered before the international break and will miss Sunday's game against Manchester United, the Capital One Cup clash with the same opponents, a trip to Swansea and the Champions League return against Shakhtar. John Terry will serve the remainder of his racism ban in the first three of those games while Marko Marin is back after a minor injury. Meanwhile, Manchester United's Shinji Kagawa is facing a four-week spell on the sidelines with a knee injury. The Japan international picked up the knock against Braga on Tuesday, meaning he will miss Sunday's trip to Chelsea and the following weekend's encounter with Arsenal, plus the return Champions League game with Braga and his country's World Cup qualifier with Oman on Nov 14. Chris Smalling has returned to training after a broken metatarsal but Phil Jones and Anders Lindegaard remain sidelined . Match Notes Is it really a decade since United last took three points from Stamford Bridge? Robin van Persie will be as keen as anyone to end that drought, particularly as he scored a hat-trick, for Arsenal, on his last visit. Chelsea, apart from their midweek blip, are flying and will hope their long journey back from Ukraine does not hinder their title prospects against a side that has a conceded first in eight of their 12 games. Betting: Home 13-10, Away 19-10, Draw 23-10. Stat of the game: Manchester United have failed to win in their last 10 Premier League visits to Stamford Bridge, losing six and drawing four.
