Chelsea v MAN UNITED: Veteran Paul Scholes ruled out of title clash

17 December 2010 02:42
Paul Scholes remains on the sidelines as Manchester United look to consolidate their place at the Premier League summit by overcoming Chelsea on Sunday.

Scholes has missed four games since suffering a groin injury during the Champions League win over Rangers and Sir Alex Ferguson does not expect to have the veteran midfielder back until the new year.

John O'Shea (calf) is also a doubt as United attempt to secure their first win at Stamford Bridge since 2002.
