Chelsea Can Beat Utd In The Sun says Anceotti

Carlo Ancelotti insisted that his Chelsea side can come to Old Trafford next weekend and pick up a win that would make the chase for the title a little more difficult for United. Chelsea managed to get the points at United last season and Ancelotti sees no reason why it cannot be done again. Indeed, if Arsenal were to win today and Chelsea did pull off an unlikely win next week then his side would go top of the table. But he faces a dilemma as to whether to persist with Fernando Torres, who performed so poorly in the first half in the Champions League quarter-final at Old Trafford last month, or play in-form Didier Drogba, who revived Chelsea when he came on at half-time in that game. The Chelsea boss told the Mail: “If we take a decision [on Torres or Drogba] we have take one for now, not for the past. I thought the first 20 minutes were good today and Fernando was involved. Didier sacrificed himself a little bit but did that for the team. But he’s not first choice. In that moment, we had a good control of the game but we needed a player with power in the box, using Kalou alongside. “We have to play with intensity if we are to win at United. I don’t know what will happen against Arsenal so maybe it will be six points by the end of that game. “The most important thing will be to prepare for the next game at United. It was important we closed the gap in two months. It has been a good reaction. “I don’t want to joke, but maybe when the sun is out we are better. It could be a reason. We don’t like the winter. Last year we were very good at this time and this year it’s the same.”
