Adamant: Blackpool's Charlie Adam has vowed to keep his club up[LNB]Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has vowed to keep his side in the Premier League after missing out on a January transfer to one of the Premier League's leading clubs.[LNB]The 25-year-old, who handed in a transfer request when he learned ofthe first of at least two bids from Liverpool, was also the subject ofa very late offer from Tottenham on deadline day.[LNB]But nothing came of the move and Adam, undoubtedly the clubs star man on their return to the top flight, will reevaluate his position in the summer when he'll be entering the final year of his contract. [LNB]'I want to help Blackpool finish as high as possible,' he said in a statement.[LNB]Club chairman Karl Oyston insists their success in hanging on toin-demand Adam gives their Barclays Premier League survival hopes ahuge boost.[LNB] But Oyston - who manager Ian Holloway claimed yesterday was refusing to return the calls of Liverpool's director of football strategy Damien Comolli - is delighted to have held on to their prize asset.[LNB] 'I want to give the town, the club, its supporters and the manager the best possible chance of maintaining Premier League status,' he told the Blackpool Gazette. 'It would be horrific if we all sat at the end of the season saying 'What if?'[LNB] How much? Tottenham's manager Harry Redknapp admits he made a late bid for Adam[LNB]'Now, no matter what happens, there won't be any 'what ifs?'[LNB]'We will give staying in this league - and all the rewards that brings - our best shot. We go forward together and we won't have any regrets.'[LNB]Adam is likely to captain the Seasiders in Wednesday's home match against West Ham.
