Champions United start at WBA

Manchester United will start the defence of their Premier League title at West Brom before facing Tottenham and Arsenal at home.[LNB] Sir Alex Ferguson's side are scheduled to head to The Hawthorns on August 13 and complete the opening month of the 2011/12 season by welcoming potential title rivals Spurs and Arsenal to Old Trafford.[LNB]The next team to visit the Theatre of Dreams are last season's runners-up Chelsea on September 17 before United travel to Liverpool and then entertain local rivals Manchester City in successive weeks in October.[LNB]The traditional Boxing Day fixture pits the Red Devils at home to Wigan while Blackburn are due to visit Old Trafford on New Year's Eve.[LNB]The opening game of 2012 sees Ferguson take his team to Newcastle and they will also travel down to Arsenal in January.[LNB]February starts with back-to-back games against Chelsea and Liverpool before the return derby meeting with City is at Eastlands at the end of April.[LNB]United's final home game is against promoted Swansea on May 5 and the season concludes with a trip to Sunderland to face former Red Devils captain Steve Bruce on May 13.
