Carrick expected tough clash

They got some really big threats going forward," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"We were prepared for that and we knew the pitch with the weather it was going to be a quick game.[LNB]"We were conscious that we wanted to play well tonight and to build upon what we had in Turkey.[LNB]"To get six points out of the two games we're very happy with that. I thought first half we played some decent stuff at times. [LNB]"We couldn't quite open them up. I had a decent chance. I'm glad I made amends for that.[LNB]"We had the opportunity. We had a good spell before they scored. They scored and thankfully we managed to step it up a gear."[LNB]
