Wigan manager Steve Bruce is keen for his players' focus not to be distracted by the pending visit of Manchester United next week.[LNB]There is a possibility United could be able to retain their Premier League title at the JJB Stadium on Wednesday if results go their way in the interim.[LNB]It means the match, which was postponed from December when Sir Alex Ferguson's side were at the FIFA Club World Cup in the Far East, has taken on huge significance.[LNB]However, Wigan first have to go to West Brom, at the other end of the table, on Saturday looking to end a run of four matches without a win.[LNB]"We've only won two out of the last 14 games and we always knew our fixtures at the back end of the season would be difficult," said Bruce, a former United defender. "We need to make sure we can finish the season off, we have three games in a week with Manchester United coming on Wednesday so let's hope we can have a decent end to the season.[LNB]"I hope they (United) don't have to come to our place to win the league again, that's for sure. They've done that once and that was enough - we don't want to see that again, although it wouldn't surprise me."
