David Beckham was part of the United team that won their incredible treble in 1999[LNB] David Beckham thinks the current Manchester United[LNB]squad is as good as the Treble-winning squad of 1999.[LNB]The 33-year-old, who won the Champions League, Premier League title and FA Cup as a United player 10 years ago, said he hoped Sir Alex Ferguson's current crop of players would surpass his achievements by winning four titles this season.[LNB]United are top of the Premier League, remain in the Champions League and FA Cup draws and will face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in the League Cup final.[LNB]Beckham told Manutd.com: 'It's an amazing squad of players and I'm sure they'll go on to achieve great things. It's so strong all the way through from the goalkeeper to the strikers.[LNB]'It was a fantastic achievement when we won the Treble in '99 and for them to be involved in four competitions this season is brilliant - as a player there's nothing better than that.[LNB]'Hopefully they can do it. I really hope they'll win every one of them. It would be amazing if they could.'[LNB]United play Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan this evening in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final and Beckham, on loan at AC Milan, said he was looking forward to watching his former team-mates in action at the San Siro.[LNB] He said: 'I can't wait. I haven't been to many United games since I left so, as soon as this match was announced, I looked to see if I was still going to be in Milan when it would be played.[LNB]'It's a match between two of the biggest clubs in the world and two great teams who are both in top form, so it's got the makings of a fantastic game. Both managers are so experienced technically and tactically and I'm sure it'll be a very tight contest.'[LNB] AC Milan star David Beckham says he will always be a Manchester United fan[LNB]But Beckham will definitely be rooting for the World Champions and admits he remains a Manchester United fan, despite his spells at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.[LNB]He said: 'I've been a United fan all my life and always will be.[LNB]'I've still got friends in the team who I played with at Old Trafford and still play with for England. So I always follow how they're doing.'[LNB] On the road with.......Manchester United: When you're David Beckham you can get Inter wherever you like[LNB]Champions League lowdown: Inter Milan v Manchester United[LNB]MANCHESTER UNITED FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE NET[LNB][LNB] [LNB]
