Sir Alex Ferguson is rumoured to planning a summer raid for the French midfielder, and will be all too aware of his potential influence on the tie. The 26-year-old usually operates in a wide role for Bayern, and with Arjen Robben struggling with injury the German champions will be looking to Ribery for inspiration going forward.
2. Wayne Rooney
Thirty-three goals and counting this season says it all. Rooney is the deadliest player in European football and capable of putting Bayern to the sword if given the opportunity. The Germans claim they don't fear him, but you can be sure he'll be provided close attention this evening.
