[LNB]The winners of Wednesday's semi-final between Barcelona and Chelsea, which is goalless after the first leg, now await in the final in Rome on May 27. [LNB]Needing to overturn a one-goal deficit, Arsenal began brightly at the Emirates before Kieran Gibbs, the 19-year-old left-back, slipped while making what should have been a routine clearance from a Ronaldo cross. Park punished the mistake and left Arsenal suddenly needing to score three times to have any chance of progressing. [LNB]Within three minutes, even that feint hope was extinguished when Ronaldo fired a free kick beyond Manuel Almunia. Ronaldo later added a third before Robin van Persie's consolation from the penalty spot that followed Fletcher's challenge on Fabregas. [LNB]On Fletcher's dismissal Ronaldo said: "It was very disappointing, he is a team player and he deserved to be in the final. But that is football."[LNB]Asked whether he enjoyed playing in the more central striking role as he did to such effect in London, he added: "I can play there sometimes even though it's not my original position. If necessary I will play striker, goalkeeper or winger." [LNB]
