[LNB] National service: Anders Lindegaard is in the Denmark squad to face Scotland[LNB]The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who will fight it out with Thomas Sorensen for a start at Hampden, revealed his discussion with Ferguson, saying: 'He took me aside on Sunday and said he would fine me if I made any good saves against Scotland. [LNB]'Of course, he said it with a smile and a laugh - and a friendly pat on my shoulder. Hopefully he wasn't being serious. [LNB] You don't want to see me angry: Sir Alex Ferguson[LNB]'It's a huge privilege to play under him at Manchester United. He's been around at the club for as long as I can remember, from my first memory as a human being. [LNB]'So he's a true legend and to work with him is a massive honour for me. He's a world-class manager who makes all his players better. [LNB]'I've already become a better keeper under him.'[LNB] If Lindegaard does play against the Scots, he will not get to face his Old Trafford team-mate Darren Fletcher who is still out ill with a stomach virus. [LNB]However, he is adamant Fletcher can be a big player for the Red Devils this year. [LNB]Lindegaard said: 'It would have been fun to play against Darren. He's been good to me at United, he's a positive guy who's always smiling and friendly. [LNB]'He's got a great attitude towards the game and I enjoy playing with him, definitely. He's what we call in Denmark a 'stand-up' guy. It's great to share a dressing-room with him. [LNB]'Sadly, he's been away for a long time. I was injured and when I came back he picked up this virus. He's been struggling for a while now but hopefully he can get better soon because he's going to be an important player for United this season.'[LNB] Road to recovery: Scotland and United star Darren Fletcher is still not match fit[LNB] CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR FREE FANTASY FOOTBALL GAMEThere are talented players - and then there's Tom Cleverley...
