Anders Lindegaard has undergone surgery, Ben Amos recalled to Manchester United

Manchester United have recalled goalkeeper Ben Amos from Oldham after Anders Lindegaard was forced to undergo a knee operation that will keep him out for five weeks.[LNB]The Denmark international joined United during the January transfer window and impressed in appearances in FA Cup wins over Southampton and Crawley Town, when he also showed he was not afraid to make his opinions known with some straightforward post-match comments.[LNB]However, the 24-year-old has not been on the bench since that Crawley encounter, with no reason offered by Sir Alex Ferguson for his absence.[LNB] Kneesy does it: Lindegaard requires surgery and will miss most of the title run in[LNB]It has now been confirmed Lindegaard will undergo knee surgery on Thursday that will keep him on the sidelines until the end of April.[LNB]Under the circumstances, Ferguson felt he had little option other than to recall Amos to act as back-up to current number two Tomasz Kuszczak.  United striker Hernandez surprised at immediate impact in English footballGunner stunner!
