Agent - England a temptation for Krasic

In-demand Serbia star Milos Krasic would be "stupid" to turn down the chance of a move to England in the view of his agent, Dejan Joksimovic.

Krasic was named in his country's World Cup squad on Tuesday alongside Nemanja Vidic, having followed the Manchester United defender's path by moving to Russia to get additional experience of club football. It seems unlikely the 25-year-old will remain at CSKA Moscow for long though, with a number of Europe's leading clubs already showing an interest in the £15million-rated winger.

As a non-English speaker, Krasic's preference would be Champions League finalists Bayern Munich but his agent Dejan Joksimovic told Press Association Sport: "Bayern would be his first choice because his best friend (Ivica Olic) is there, but the German league is also the weakest of the countries who could realistically afford him."

He added: "I must stress, Manchester United have not been in touch, but the attraction is there because of Vidic, and in Milos' opinion the Premier League remains the best in the world.

"He would certainly be happy to test himself there. Let's be honest, you would be stupid to say no."

Krasic is said to have turned down a move to Manchester City in January, although with Adam Johnson making such an impression since his arrival from Middlesbrough, it is unlikely Roberto Mancini would make a second effort to sign the wide-man.
