Adriano poses United challenge

Adriano has said Inter Milan are more than capable of springing an upset against holders Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.

The Brazilian striker believes that, although United are a strong force, Inter - in their current form - are capable of beating the defending champions.

Currently nine points clear at the top of Serie A, Inter have won five of their last six matches in all competitions.

Having lost just once at home this term, Adriano feels his side can afford to be in confident mood when they welcome Sir Alex Ferguson's side to the San Siro.

Determined"I don't want to make any promises [about the Champions League] but the will to win is there," Adriano told Sky Sport Italia.

"If I score [against United] then I will dedicate the goal to my children."

Adriano netted in the Milan derby at the weekend helping his side move closer to the Serie A title, although he insists he is taking nothing for granted.

"We all know that we have a great advantage on the teams behind us," he added.

"However, we have to win every game. We have to stay focused on the matches that remain."
