Ze Roberto eyes City switch

Ze Roberto has claimed that he could be heading to Manchester City after his contract talks with Bayern Munich stalled.[LNB] The Brazilian, out of contract in the summer, looks certain to leave the Allianz Arena after the club would only offer him a one-year extension with the 34-year-old holding out for a two-year deal.[LNB]As well as reported interest from City, the midfielder insists he has had approaches from two Bundesliga clubs, a Saudi Arabian team and a number of MLS sides.[LNB]Ze Roberto stated that he would decide his future in the next few days but admitted that City was a very attractive proposition.[LNB]"Manchester City is quite high up on the list," he told TZ newspaper. "They want to play internationally and I should help them achieve that goal."[LNB]Head held highThe former Santos ace stated that he would be leaving Bayern with his head held high after two successful spells with the club.[LNB]"I am leaving with a lot of pride," he added. "I am proud of the achievements, especially my return to Bayern after a year at Santos was extremely special.[LNB]"I am leaving the club through the front door and there will always be something of me with this club.
