Weiss biding his time at Bolton

Vladimir WeissVladimir Weiss may be lacking playing time since his arrival at the Reebok but Bolton's on-loan City winger isn't short on ambition. And the Slovakian international can expect more games between now and the end of the season, according to manager Owen Coyle. "Vlad has been frustrated and I have been frustrated for him," said Coyle. "He is a lovely kid and we brought him to the club to play. And he will play. "I speak to him every day and know he has got big goals in front of him. "He wants to show everyone he's a Premier League player and he is. That's why we brought him here. "Between now and the end of the season you will see more of Vladimir, which is great, because he's champing at the bit to come on." Weiss played 25 minutes in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa. And while overshadowed by Jack Wilshere, he has no regrets about his temporary departure from Eastlands. "It's good to come here and get some minutes under my belt, especially before the World Cup," he said. Debut "It always takes time to get in the team. I want to play but it's up to the manager and I respect that." And Weiss, whose father is manager of the Slovakian national side, added: "It was hard at City and I knew when I came to Bolton it would be hard, too." Weiss has been on the Blues' books for five years and made his Premier League debut against Wanderers last season. But his opportunities in City's stellar squad have been limited, forcing him to look for more regular outings. "I didn't get as many games as I wanted. But training with the players was unbelievable," he said. "When I first came to England, I could never have dreamed about playing with the likes of Robinho and Tevez. "But even if I stayed there and just played five minutes a game, it wouldn't help improve me for the World Cup. I asked if I could go on loan and I am happy I chose Bolton." What do you think?
