The Valencia front-man is one of the most feared forwards in world football and he has been a target for a host of clubs, but he has thus far stayed put.
The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Inter Milan and La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have been tracking him - but it is Manchester City who looked to use their new financial muscle to sign him.
But Villa's agent insists his charge does not want to move to England and he would have no interest in joining City.
"David has rejected the chance to play in England," Jose Luis Tamargo told the Daily Mirror.
"It would be a nonsense to negotiate with Manchester City and Chelsea aren't interested.
"If Valencia do decide to sell him he wants to stay in Spain."
