Vieira on standby to make City bow
PATRICK Vieira is in line for his City debut at Everton after shaking off a calf strain. Manager Roberto Mancini is still pondering his midfield options but Gareth Barry, who has been carrying a groin problem, may step aside, especially with the Carling Cup semi-final first leg against United just 72 hours later.
