But the match will always be remembered for the shambolic penalty which saw Frenchmen Pires and Henry fail with a trick.[LNB] Pires tried to set up Henry from the penalty spot instead of shooting but the routine failed to come off.[LNB] City captain Sylvain Distin said of his compatriots: 'What they did was disrespectful. Perhaps you could call it ungentlemanly conduct. I didn't like it at all.'[LNB]VIDEO: Eh, Bobby - what's the French for 'wallys'? The arrogant youngster later said after his victory: 'I'm better with my left hand than he was with his right.'[LNB] Beaten Robidoux fumed: 'It was good for the crowd, sure, but not for the player. I was playing bad and he was doing that. It was just disrespectful. If Ronnie wants to do all of these things he can do it at exhibitions - not in professional matches.' The England wing performed the feat for his country in the series-opening win over Wales, to the displeasure of team manager Martin Johnson. [LNB]'I don't think Johnno's best pleased and I'll get one of those rollockings,' Ashton said. 'I did drop one once, for Northampton at Edinburgh in the Heineken Cup. It got knocked out my hand. I won't be doing that again.'[LNB] The promise was soon forgotten though, as Ashton celebrated two of his four tries against Italy in the same manner. He realised Johnson would again be upset, and said: 'If someone can find out what flowers Johnno is into I might send him them.'[LNB]VIDEO: Ashton takes off (again!)[LNB][LNB]Underarm tactic pays off[LNB] Australia claimed one of the most notorious of cricket victories when they beat New Zealand at the MCG during the 1981 World Series Cup. [LNB]New Zealand needed a six from the final ball for a tie, so Australia captain Greg Chappell told younger brother Trevor to deliver the ball underarm along the ground, thus scuppering the chances of batsman Brian McKechnie clearing the ropes. [LNB]The act was not against the rules at the time, but it was considered against the spirit of the sport, and New Zealand Prime Minister Robert Muldoon called it 'the most disgusting incident I can recall in the history of cricket'.  [LNB]VIDEO: Chappell does his bit for Aus-NZ relations[LNB][LNB] LA Galaxy 1 Man City 1 (City win 7-6 on pens): Balotelli in furious row with Mancini CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR FREE FANTASY FOOTBALL GAMEEvra urges Nasri to shun City's millions for the silverware on offer at UnitedMan City target Aguero misses training as he attempts to force through ?40m move [LNB]
