Veloso remains committed
Miguel Veloso insists he remains committed to Sporting Lisbon and is not considering leaving the club.[LNB] The Portugal international has persistently been linked with a move away from the Jose Alvalade, with several Premier League clubs believed to be tracking his progress.[LNB]Manchester City are the latest name added to Veloso's list of admirers as they plan to mount a serious challenge on all fronts next season.[LNB]But Veloso, who claimed back in March he "would like to leave the club", has now declared he wishes for a longer stay at Sporting.[LNB]"I only think of Sporting. Even in one or two years from now that is not going to change," he said.[LNB]SeasonFC Porto are just three points away from being crowned Portuguese league champions and Veloso could not hide his disappointment to see his side finish behind the Dragons once again.[LNB]"This was not a good season because we wanted to be champions. We worked for it but we could not meet the goals set at the beginning of the campaign," he concluded.[LNB]
