Vassell's Turkey talks

Darius Vassell has travelled to Turkey to hold talks with Ankaragucu over a prospective move to the Super Lig side.[LNB] The former England international appears to have no future at Manchester City with manager Mark Hughes linked with a host of big-name signings.[LNB]Roque Santa Cruz has already been added to a squad which boasts Craig Bellamy and Robinho, while Samuel Eto'o and Carlos Tevez are further targets.[LNB]The 29-year-old Vassell, who moved to City from Aston Villa in July 2005 for £2million, has flown out to the Turkish capital for further discussions.[LNB]DecisionAnkaragucu chairman Cengiz Topel Yildirim told Turkish radio station Radyospor: "We've completed the pre-negotiations with Darius Vassell. [LNB]"We aim to secure a big signing as this year is our centenary. [LNB]"He [Vassell] will visit the city and our installations. Then he will make a decision.[LNB]"I hope we can include him in our squad."[LNB]
