Van Persie accuses Adebayor
ROBIN van Persie has accused former Arsenal team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor of deliberately attempting to injure him - and claimed the City striker came within centimetres of stamping on his eye.
Although neither manager said they saw the second-half incident when it happened during City's 4-2 win over the Gunners today, TV replays did not make pleasant viewing for Adebayor.
