Tykes announce City friendly
Barnsley have confirmed they will face Premier League Manchester City at Oakwell on August 1.
Mark Hughes` side are still in with a chance of securing a place in the Europa League next season and could bring a host of star names to South Yorkshire including Brazilian superstar Robinho.
The cash-rich club, who made an audacious swoop for AC Milan forward Kaka in January, are expected to recruit heavily in the summer and have been linked with Raul and Carlos Tevez.
The match will kick-off at 3.00pm.
