TEAMtalk rates and slates the displays by Chelsea and Manchester City's players in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

CHELSEA:
PETR CECH: Made an instinctive save from Sergio Aguero after seven minutes and a routine one from Carlos Tevez after 10 in a strong display, but could do nothing about the goals - 7/10.
CESAR AZPILICUETA: An unfortunate deflection off the right-back broke for Samir Nasri to score the opener and he endured a trying afternoon against energised opponents - 5.
RYAN BERTRAND: Recovered from the illness which saw him miss Moscow. Blocked a Tevez shot and intercepted a pass from the Argentine, but was ineffective going forward - 6.
DAVID LUIZ: Chelsea's defence endured a troubled first 65 minutes, but he launched the pass which Demba Ba converted. Was the victim of a wild two-footed leap from Aguero - 7.
BRANISLAV IVANOVIC: Had to cover for his team-mates on numerous occasions. Blocked from Aguero after Luiz misjudged an aerial ball and again off the line from James Milner, but lost Aguero for City's second - 6.
RAMIRES: Rugby tackled by Gareth Barry in the first half as he tried to surge forward and booked in the second in the free-kick which led to Aguero's header - 6.
JOHN OBI MIKEL: Could not contain the irrepressible Yaya Toure as Chelsea lost the midfield battle and was unable to find his passing range on the few occasions he got on the ball. Replaced by Torres - 5.
EDEN HAZARD: Had a bouncing effort cleared off the line by Belgium team-mate Vincent Kompany and buzzed around off the flanks, but with little success as Barry, Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy all stifled his efforts - 6.
OSCAR: A subdued display from the Brazil forward as part of Chelsea's second offensive line. Suffered from a lack of opportunity as City dominated - 5.
JUAN MATA: Shot narrowly wide after 38 minutes and covered in defence as City broke three on two while two-up. Thought he might have had a penalty, but Costel Pantilimon timed leap to perfection - 6.
DEMBA BA: Kept quiet by Matija Nastasic and Kompany before showing his supreme athleticism to hook in Luiz's pass in a similar goal to his strike against Manchester United in the previous round. Denied by Pantilimon soon afterwards - 7.
SUBSTITUTES: FERNANDO TORRES (for MIKEL, 65 minutes): Made an immediate impact, occupying City defenders' attention as Ba hooked the ball in. Caused problems, but could not stretch enough to meet a clipped Mata pass - 7.
MANCHESTER CITY:
COSTEL PANTILIMON: Thrown in for the big occasion and looked anxious as he missed his first cross but bravely came to the fore in the second half and justified his selection - 8/10.
PABLO ZABALETA: Got forward to offer his support as usual but with others on song, his influence was not needed - 6.
VINCENT KOMPANY: Strong in defence, particularly in the air, and showed willingness to support attacks, although his finishing was wayward - 8.
MATIJA NASTASIC: Also commanding in the air and usually in the right place to make a challenge or intercept the ball - 8.
GAEL CLICHY: Showed persistence in his defensive duties and made some surging runs upfield although there were some anxious moments in the second period - 6.
JAMES MILNER: A lively presence in the midfield, troubling Chelsea with his lung-bursting runs and dangerous delivery - 8.
YAYA TOURE: Highly influential despite playing within himself in the first half, maintaining attacks with key passes and charging forward on occasions - 9.
GARETH BARRY: - A good box-to-box performance, heading clear one minute and probing at the other end the next - 7.
SAMIR NASRI: Buzzing from the outset in the absence of David Silva, always finding space and hungry for the ball, deservedly rewarded with opening goal - 9.
CARLOS TEVEZ: Set the tone with a shot in the opening minutes, showed tenacity, determination and plenty of skill as he linked well with Aguero but came off as Chelsea began to hit back - 8.
SERGIO AGUERO: Tested Petr Cech early on and remained a menace throughout, showing great awareness to head in City's second - 9.
SUBSTITUTES: JAVI GARCIA (for Tevez, 72): Came on when City needed to restore solidity and made some timely interventions - 6.
JOLEON LESCOTT (for Nasri, 86): A late entrant as City defended resolutely in the closing minutes - 6.
