Toure warns of City potential
Kolo Toure has told skysports.com that he believes his new club Manchester City have the potential to be an 'unstoppable' force.
The Ivory Coast international recently signed at Eastlands from Arsenal for a fee in the region of £16million.
Centre-back Toure follows the likes of Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz and fellow ex-Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor in making a summer move to the cash-rich club.
Toure has revealed he is fitting in well at City and is hopeful manager Mark Hughes' crop of stars will gel in the new season.
He told skyports.com: "I am settling in well, I am very happy. I like my team-mates already. I know most of them because I have played against them.
"To have Adebayor around also means a great deal to me, we are like brothers, we do help each other.
"Our team is going to be great, however we have a lot to do to catch up the 'big four'.
"We can do it, the talent is there, and if we click we will be unstoppable."
Toure also expressed his gratitude to former boss Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal supporters after he enjoyed seven years with the club.
He said: "Mr Wenger is like a second father for me, I have not got a bad word to say about him at all. He has been great to me.
"He made me the man I am today, the player I am. I would like to say thank you to him.
"The supporters have been great to me, they loved me, and I did as well. I thank them for their support."
