Toure looking to push on

Yaya Toure says it will be hard for Manchester City to win the title this season, but hopes they improve on last term's fifth-place finish.[LNB] Roberto Mancini's men have been tipped to challenge for top spot during the forthcoming campaign after a summer of heavy spending in the transfer market.[LNB]Toure is one of the players to arrive, having joined from Barcelona, and he made his debut in a pre-season game against Club America on Wednesday evening.[LNB]Speaking after the match, the Ivory Coast international set his sights on a successful career with the club.[LNB]Toure's main focus is on helping City qualify for the UEFA Champions League, while he is targeting the league title within a couple of years.[LNB]"I am very happy to sign for the club and I think this year will be very good for Man City," the midfielder told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"For the moment what I expect is for the club to go up, maybe finish third or fourth to be in the Champions League qualification.[LNB]"After one year with these players maybe we can take the championship.[LNB]"For now it is so difficult because with top teams like Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal they need to work hard to go up."
