Tottenham in for Craig Bellamy as turmoil at Manchester City encourages Harry Redknapp

Redknapp tried to sign Bellamy at the same stage of last season before City won the race with a £14m deal to take him from West Ham to Eastlands. The Real Madrid player would be available for around £3m. [LNB]Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has told Redknapp he must sell before he can buy but with Roman Pavlyuchenko, David Bentley and Alan Hutton all surplus to requirements, that would not present a problem. [LNB]The club are confident Pavlyuchenko can be offloaded for close to the £13.8m they paid for him, with Spartak Moscow, Zenit St Petersburg, Roma and Liverpool all possible destinations.
