Tottenham and Manchester City want M'Baye Niang

ShareTottenham have joined Manchester City in the chase for French teenager M'Baye Niang.

The 16-year-old striker is regarded as one of France's best young prospects after bursting on to the scene last season with Caen.

He made his first-team debut only in April and scored three goals in seven games.

City have already made contact but Caen say Tottenham have offered a package worth around ?7m and believe they can offer him a better chance of first-team football.

Spurs are also close to agreeing a ?1.3m deal for Jaguares striker Antonio Pedroza Whitham. The 20-year-old was born in Chester but plays for Mexico.
