Son in law to the great Diego Maradona, big things were always expected of Sergio Aguero .

He holds the record for the youngest age to make a debut in the Argentine First Division, at 15 years and 35 days. A record previously held by Diego Maradona.

Aguero moved to Atletico Madrid in 2006, for 23million euro. He scored 101 goals in 234 appearnaces for the club, winning the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in the process. This attracted the big clubs all across Europe, and Manchester City were first to pounce.

They signed Aguero for £38,000,000 and he done more than enough to justify his price tag. At just an age of 24, in his debut season in England Aguero managed 23 league goals, and most notably, the goal that won Manchester City the league title, there first in 44 years.

In a thrilling game in which City had to win, a 94th minute winner from Sergio Aguero was enough to send the Etihad Stadium in to uproar. With Manchester City's first title in 44 years eventually coming back, with the riches they posess and the likes of Sergio Aguero upon the ranks, only time will tell if City can truly be one of the greatest teams.
