Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the biggest (and littlest) transfer moves this summer. His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening Don't miss yo Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at MailOnline.e. ............................................................................................................ Fernando Torres Liverpool to Manchester United - The Insider says: 0/5 Sir Alex Ferguson had opportunities to sign Torres before he joined Liverpool, but had reservations about his goals return. Torres is one of Liverpool's 'untouchables' and, despite the club's financial plight, Rafa Benitez won't countenance a sale. Torres has made a commitment to Liverpool and Ferguson has ear-marked other targets. The striker's international team-mate, David Villa, and Lyon's Karim Benzema are higher priorities. Moussa Dembele Alkmaar to Spurs - The Insider says: 2/5 Dembele has had an outstanding season and has already attracted offers from PSV Eindhoven and Ajax. Alkmaar would prefer a deal where he is loaned back to them for next season, but the 21-year-old Belgian is ambitious to make his mark in the Premier League as soon as possible. Spurs might be willing to offer him the chance, although maybe not for the £15million Alkmaar want. Chelsea have made an inquiry too and he could arrive at Stamford Bridge if they fail to land other targets. Richard Dunne Manchester City to Sunderland - The Insider says: 4/5 Spurs and Stoke have both monitored Dunne's situation over the past two seasons and have been made aware he is surplus to requirements at City as the club seeks to bring in new faces. With their £16m offer on the table for Joleon Lescott and interest in Arsenal's Kolo Toure, City plan to bring in at least one of the pair before the end of July. Spurs are still pursuing other targets and Stoke's profile might not be high enough for Dunne, which leaves the door open for Sunderland to get their man. Sol Campbell Portsmouth to Basle - The Insider says: 1/5 Campbell is due to hold talks this week, but Basle's new manager, Thorsten Fink, wants to hold fire and weigh up his options before making the former England international an offer. Campbell, though, may now look at other clubs after growing frustrated at his treatment. Burnley, Wolves and Blackburn have all shown interest, as have Trabzonspor in Turkey, but no club has yet to match Campbell's financial ambitions. Paul Robinson WBA to Celtic - The Insider says: 2/5 The Albion full back will leave the Hawthorns this summer and could yet follow manager Tony Mowbray to Celtic Park. Bolton and Portsmouth have also made inquiries and the Reebok Stadium may be his preferred destination. Mowbray will also look at other members of the Albion squad, particularly Borja Valero, to bolster Celtic's ranks.
