Carlos Tevez is expected to complete a £13.5million move to Juventus later this week.
Manchester City director of football Txiki Begiristain met with his Juventus counterparts on Tuesday and after an agreement from new boss Manuel Pellegrini, it was decided Tevez should be allowed to end his controversial four-year stay at the Etihad Stadium.
The player will undergo a medical on Wednesday, with personal terms also still to be agreed.
