Spireites land City striker
Chesterfield have signed Manchester City youngster Donal McDermott on a three-month loan deal.
McDermott recently signed a new two-year contract with City, but has yet to play a first-team match for the Premier League club.
He spent a spell on loan at MK Dons last season and made just one substitute's appearance during his time with the League One side.
The 19-year-old has now agreed a move to Chesterfield, subject to the necessary clearance being received from the footballing authorities.
Providing the paperwork is completed on time, McDermott could feature in the Spireites' opening League Two game of the season at Torquay United on Saturday.
