Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has confirmed he held talks with Manchester City over a possible move to the Etihad Stadium this summer.[LNB] Sorensen is on the lookout for more first-team football having found his opportunities limited behind Asmir Begovic at Stoke.[LNB]Manchester City were interested in signing him as back-up for Hart and, although that move did not materialise, Sorensen could yet leave Stoke if a club is willing to offer him regular action.[LNB]The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News of the Citizens' interest in him: "If a big club is interested, of that size, you can't really look the other way. [LNB]"There was negotiations there, but they didn't turn out to anything and I move on. [LNB]"When you get to my age, you realise that you will have to end at some point, and that makes it all the more important to keep playing - especially when you have got the motivation and the level as well.[LNB]"For me it is important to play, as it has been ever since I started. I have got a year contract there (Stoke), so that's the situation at the moment."
