Silkmen see off Manchester City XI
Tyrone Barnett and Nat Brown were on target in either half as Macclesfield beat a Manchester City XI 2-1 at the Moss Rose.[LNB] Barnett headed home from a corner to put the Silkmen ahead but the visitors were soon level as Omae Elabdellouai jinked past two players before slotting under Jose Veiga.[LNB]But Gary Simpson's men claimed victory in the 53rd minute when Brown headed home a free-kick from Matty Hamshaw.
