Sheridan to make McDermott move

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan is hoping to re-sign Donal McDermott on loan from Manchester City in January.[LNB]The winger has made a big impact for Chesterfield during his three-month loan but has now returned to the Premier League side.[LNB]And Sheridan is promising to try his best to secure the 20-year-old for another loan spell in the new year.[LNB]"I'm very disappointed that he's (McDermott) got to go back, we'd have loved to have kept him and I tried my hardest to do that, but it's in City's hands now," he told the Star.[LNB]"He's been a great while he's been here, scored goals and been a massive threat for us, particularly at home.[LNB]"He's been good to have around the place and I'll be trying my hardest to get him back in January."
